Questions about post op.....

Howdy everybody! I'm new to this and this is my first post...so, bare with me. I was just wandering if anyone had a problem getting pregnant before losing weight and if anyone has gotten pregnant post op? My DH and I have been trying for four years now and since I have PCOS we have had a heck of a time conceiving. I was just hoping that losing the weight would help change that. Does anyone know?

I have a read a lot of articles that indicated that morbid obesity does hinder conception and once the weight is off, the problem is gone. Good luck.

One of my best friends had gastric bypass two years ago. She has lost 160 lbs, gotten married, and is now 8 weeks pregnant. I don't know whether she had PCOS or not, but I believe there IS hope.
