Ready for take off, Captain!

Set the engines on warp speed... I got my official official date, time, preop done, labs done... and all that other jazz!!! I'm Ready for April 5 @ St. Vinnie's!! I'm in debt up to my eyeballs but I'm ready to start this journey!!! Dr said I have an umbilical cord hermia??? I think I have to look that one up. BUt it shouldn't hinder anything. In fact he said in about 2 years I can most likely go to a DR and get a tummy tuck paid for by INS!!! Gotta love that!! Now all I have to do is sit and wait till next week... Susan O.

Hi Susan, Congratulations on your date! Wow, you won't have much time to fret, will you. My surgery was at St Vincent's, and on a Thursday too. My care was great until Saturday when I could hardly buy a nurse, but you'll be ready to go home by then, so you should be ok. I'd make sure you have someone who can be with you on Saturday to get help for you if you need it. Please know I'll be thinking of you, even though I won't be able to visit. I'm having surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon this morning, in fact, got to get moving and get to Baptist. Take care, and good luck!!! Susan
