OK, I'm a short-timer
Only two more days, ladies!! Unfortunately, I put my back out over the weekend and am walking with a cane because I've got a BAD hitch in my gitalong but I don't think that should have any effect on the status of my surgery.
I'm having lapband with Dr. Wellborn at St. Vincent's on Thursday morning. My DH is going with me and he'll help me get up afterward to do my walking. I'm sure the pain medication I get will also help my back feel better. Right now I can't take anything but Tylenol and it doesn't help my back at all.
Durn it, it seems that every time I get to come home...something happens and I end up spending alot of time either sick or in pain of one sort or another.
Susan, whoever was nasty to you should have their mouth washed out with Tide. Having any kind of Bariatric Surgery is a personal decision. My reasoning was that I could return to class 3 days after my surgery, it's adjustable, and it's SAFE. But my best friend chose Gastric Bypass and she's thrilled with her decision, she's lost 160 lbs, got married to a soldier and is now expecting their first child. She wishes me the best, and I wish her the best.
