Good morning guys, sorry I havent been around on the boards lately, I have been reading, but just havent had much to add. Im so busy walking and drinking my liquid, I sometimes forget to sit and say hi. Hope everyone had a great weekend, we had a big trail ride, birthday party and bar-b-que this Saturday and yesterday was church and then back to the party site to eat the leftovers!!! For my part, I ate a chicken leg, and it was great. I do have a question for my fellow friends who have are out longer than I am. I have been looking at sugar free cookie recipes, and have noticed that most of them have white flour in them. Is white flour acceptable in recipes?? I dont want to eat lots of cookies, but some days I just want a little something sweet. Does anyone have any ideas?? Lets all have a great week!!! We are building a bedroom on our house this week, my house will be invaded w/4 big strong teenage boys all week. It will be fun but definitely tiring!!! Hugs to all, lets stay moving!! Love, Rhonda

I don't know if this is acceptable, but it sure is lo-everything... and + protein.. they sound like merengues, which are usually super sweet... from splenda.com Angel Bites Serves: 5 Preparation Time: 20 Minutes Cooking Time: 15 Minutes Total Time: 35 Minutes What you need: 5 egg whites 1/3 cup SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla 1 pinch salt What you do: 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly oil a 13x11-inch baking sheet. Set aside. 2 Make Angel Bites. Place egg whites in a medium mixing bowl. Whip on high speed using an electric mixer or wire whis****il frothy. 3 Add SPLENDA® Granulated, vanilla and salt. Mix on high speed until medium-stiff peaks form (approx. 20-30 seconds with an electric mixer). 4 Spoon rounded tablespoons of egg whites onto prepared baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan. Cool. 5 Assemble Angel Bites. Just before serving, sandwich Angel Bites with filling of choice. Place filling on the bottom of one Angel Bite and top with another so that the bottoms of the Angel Bites are facing each other and the filling is sandwiched between them. Repeat with remaining Angel Bites. Thanks so much, those sound good, may fill them with some SF pudding or something, and the protein is a + for sure. Today I was able to eat toasted bread or melba toast, so I tried some whole wheat melba toast w/a lil mustard on it, was really good. Not sure if it was that great, or if I was just ready for something different!!! At any rate, I ate it up!!! Have a great day, Rhonda
