Is it possible?????
Pretty soon, you will be able to eat in a restaraunt, take out isn't too good for you, and you will be able to eat some of your grandma's food. I can eat anything my hubby does, except beef and pork, I just can't eat too much of it. Yesterday, we stopped at cracker barrel and I ordered chicken livers and ate a bite or two of those and 1/4th cup of mashed potatoes and a 1/2 cup of beans. Yummy. Now, I wanted to eat it all and hated wasting the food, but you will get used to wasting. Mostly, hubby orders food and I eat some of his food and will order me a baked potato. It's so hard not eating what everyone else is eating. A week after my surgery and I was still on liquids, son and hubby ordered take out from a rib place. Right before their food came, I made me some chicken broth, not the same and I was a little miffed that they could not have gone out to eat, but at the same time, I told them it wouldn't bother me. Now, it really doesn't bother me. I don't like having all the chips and candies around, not that I would be tempted by candy, but the chips are a little hard to walk past. You will get better and start feeling better and once you are completely recovered from the surgery and you start getting a little of what you normally would have eaten, like chicken and vegetables and fish and maybe even beef, you will perk up. When you are down 60 or 70 pounds, you will not give a crap about what you can't have. But 19 pounds is real good too.
