I HAVE A DATE !!

I am soooo excited! Carrie, Dr. Gibbs nurse, called me yesterday afternoon and we set a date for Friday, April 6th. I wanted to do it sooner but oh well, just being able to have the surgery is such a blessing. Please keep me & my family in your prayers as we are a family in waiting! Thank you guys for helping me thru this process.

Big huge congrats Rhonda, I know you are soooo excited. I only had a 12 day wait from the time I got my date until surgery, and I cleaned house and I walked, and I cleaned house, lol, tried to stay busy. Good luck with your waiting time, we will all be here for you!! Rhonda

Thanks Rhonda! I made a list 2 miles long to get done before surgery, including finishing my taxes! thanks for all the encouragement (I get a little nervous when I have to be put to sleep). I just looked and SHUCKS I will be in the hospital Easter weekend! Oh well...I never liked Ham anyway! I will be saving my Easter dress money for my 1st new outfit to wear! Yippity Skippity!!!!!!!!!!!! It may seem like April 6th will take forever to get here, but the time is going to fly by! We'll all be here for you when you get the jitters and start having second thoughts, and help you through all of it. Dr Gibbs is the best, you're in good hands. Take care, Susan

Rhonda, it isn't that bad. It goes a lot faster than you can ever imagine. I have a date for this Friday, March 2, 2007 and it seems like time has just flown by. Now that the day is so close it seems as though I do not have enough time to get my to do list finished. Just remember to hang in there and keep busy.

I know you must be so excited. I have been there and it is a great feeling. You are going to be so glad you had this surgery. I have a good friend that lives in Conway that had it done in September. Maybe you two can meet and support each other.
