Hey Rhonda, how you doing? Keeping busy so you don't get too nervous? Are you expected to go home on Thursday? If you are, I'd like to come visit you that day, if it's ok. Susan, Dr. Baker says Wednesday or Thursday, not sure, depends on how I do, but I would LOVE for you to come see me. Im so excited, trying to get all my housework done, and get things in place, and it seems Im not getting anywhere, make sense? I have also been walking every day, trying to get my leg muscles ready for when I come home and actually have the air to walk more than 5 minutes at a time. Feel free to call me the day after surgery and I'll know more then about discharge Im sure. Ill be at Baptist Medical in Little Rock, under the name Rhonda Dews, should be on the 6th floor. Welcome. It does sound like you are doing well. I, too, was shocked at how little pain there was with the surgery. I am also amazed at how the weight just keeps on coming off. I can not tolerate many of the sugars from fruits. In fact, I got really sick on a food that had a small amount of sugar alcohols and since then, I avoid anything that is not made with splenda.

Hi Didi... welcome to the AR OH board! It's a great place to meet new "closer" friends. I'm in NWA, but I do get down to the Little Rock area pretty often. Sounds like you surgery went well and that you are doing great! Dr. Baker did mine and I'm also 1 year postop. I go in for my one year check up with him on Feb 23rd. It sure has been a fast year!!
