Dr Gibbs was my surgeon....you'll do great! I'd like to come by to see you while your in the hospital, just let me know if it's ok. Usually I try to go visit on the last day you're there, that way you're feeling a bit better before having "company". Best Wishes, Susan

You are more than welcome to come by and visit me. My husband will be there with me but that's it. My mom is goin to keep my son for me while I am in the hospital. If I am in a semi-private room will they let my husband stay in there with me at Baptist Hosp? I go up there on the 15th to to my pre-testing and my dietician appt. What all does the pre-testing consist of? I am so glad that everything has worked out for me, financally for the most part. I have decided to take 9 days off instead of 6 like I had orginally planned, my boss seems to think I will nedd off more than 6 days. LOL!!! We are going to spend the night on the 20th because i have to be at the hosp at 5:30 in the am so it's 2.5 hour drive for me to Little Rock. Well, I am gonna get off here and get ready for bed, have to go to work in the am, which really sucks!!! Have a good night and day tomorrow. Tina

Yeah!!!!!!! I know you are excited. Dr. Gibbs did my Lap RNY just 8 days ago, I was also at Baptist. First let me say if you are on the 6th floor, which is designated for bariatric patients, you'll have the best nurses! I will PM you tonight with specifics on your pre-op testing, its really easy and nothing to worry about. And you will need those 9 days, trust me. It takes a few days to feel somewhat normal again. Just a quick question: Have you ever had any type surgery before? If not, I can walk you through it because it can be a little scary. Take care, Denise
