Seminar on the 28th at Baptist...

Anyone here going to Dr Baker's seminar in Little Rock? I will be going, and wondering if anyone else here will be there too. I will get my workup packet there, and will have to do labwork and psych eval again, but they said I could be scheduled for surgery within a couple of weeks after the seminar, wow they work fast. I don't remember it all being soo fast before, but then again I really don't remember since it has been almost 2 years since I first applied for surgery. Has anyone here been to one of his seminars? What can I expect? Will Dr Baker be there or any of his staff?

Hey Ev, Dr Baker is doing my Gastric Bypass, still no date. My hemocult tests came back positive for blood so I have to get a colonoscopy done. Just a minor set back. Hubby and I went to one of his seminars, and he is the one who does the seminar. It lasted about 2 hours, and he is very very thourough, with a question/answer period after the seminar. Hes very abrupt, and seems kind of harsh at times, but he wants you to know that you have to be ready. His insurance girl, Becky Turk is there, and she is good to answer questions about ins. and such. What kind of insurace do you have?? I have medicare. I hope to have my surgery done by the end of February. Christie is the one you talk to if you have questions after you start your work up. She is WONDERFUL.
