Hi everyone, We've added two more names to our "band of merry losers", Laura in Mena, and Stephani in Jonesboro. Keep 'em coming!!! Now, we need to figure out more of the details of our next meeting. Should we meet again in Russellville? Do you think the town is ready for another, larger group of us? We don't have to meet for lunch, we could go to a Denny's or something if it's later in the day on Sunday. You could just have coffee or iced tea, or eat if you want. I suppose you could do the same at Western Sizzlin', just tossing the idea out. Do we want to do little $5 grab bags? Do we want to think about a topic to discuss each time we meet? Just tossing some ideas out. Susan

Hi Susan, I think meeting for lunch/food is good, I like that. I don't/cant' do Dennys, ack, not sure others could handle the food either. I don't think we need to choose a topic to discuss, I kind of liked where we just talked. Everyone had some much to say that I think we should just talk talk talk...I like the gift bag idea as did others. Maybe keep the limit between 5 & 10.....Me personally I think meeting earlier in the day is better, especially for those who have to travel a distance. I'm not fond of driving after dark and I know those that live further away would appreciate not having to drive after dark either. Just a thought is all. Cathi

Hey Susan and all my fellow AR WLS pals! This is my two cents and it's not worth much more than that!! I am hoping to make to the meeting on the 28th, so I figured I'd give my input. 1-I like the lunch idea. We might like to think of somewhere that serves breakfast all day like Cracker Barrel or Dennys. That would give a few more options in eating. I can go anywhere and find something to munch on! 2-Topic - I like this idea. Maybe at the next meeting we could each write down a topic that is concerning us. We are talking about anything and everything anyway... and we could read one and just start talking. No order or round table, etc. Just gab away like we did before. If (and I highly doubt this will happen!) we run out of things to say we can read another topic. I think we're all so new to each other that even if we wait a while to start this, we'll be fine. We're all still getting to know each other so there's no slowing down the talk! I have a fun "getting to know you" game that we can do if everyone is up for it! We each tell 3 things about ourself, only 1 of the 3 is not true. Then the group has to guess which one is a lie. As an example, you might say: 1 I've been married 7 times 2 My favorite color is orange and 3 I have a tattoo on my buttock. Now which of these is not true? People just start talking and asking questions and trying to figure you out. AND just FYI - NONE of the above 3 statements is true about me!! I just made them up to illustrate the game! You can really have fun with this - especially the made up one! Just a thought! 3-I love the gift bag idea. It will be fun!!! I just don't want anyone not to come because this will be a financial burden. Okay... this is long enough. Again it's worth about two cents! Maybe less. Margie

Hey Tammy. With my job, I drive alot. Mostly in NWA and some in OK and MO. I do get down to LR on occasion too. Next Monday and Tuesday I'm suppose to do an enrollment in SE AR. Can't remember what cities though. When I get the information I'll post it on here and see if any of you guys are close by. I'm sure I'll have to get a room down there since it's a two day job. I am self employed and I do employee benefits. One of the carriers I work for is Colonial and I do employee insurance enrollments for other agents. So I go where ever I'm needed. The week between Christmas and New Years I was in Mississippi and Louisiana! That's not normal for me to travel that far, but it was something that had to be done! My DH was off work that week and my 9 year old son was out of school, so we just all went and they did other stuff while I worked. It was not really a fun trip though!! If you have a Parkway Bank in your area, that may be where I'm going next week (if the weather doesn't get too bad up here). That's the company I'll be doing the enrolling for their employees. Hopefully you can find the location or meet up with one of the other girls and ride together! Margie
