Hello everyone. I did it, I got all my hair cut off. I am now perky, or at least that is how I feel. It's amazing how a thing as small as a new hair style can give us a boost. Anyway, today, I am going to work on translating Caesar. How much fun will that be? I am also getting ready for my weightloss surgery friend's visit. She is coming next Thursday and we will get up early on Friday and head out to the Diamond park. Anyone in that area want to join us in our little day adventure, come on over. We will be the perky looking ones. Seriously, if any of you want to come and meet with us, let me know and I will give you times and such. She is from Missouri and has lost a ton of weight. I haven't seen her in a few months so I probably won't recognize her. I'm eager to hear how Geri is doing. Today, she will be up and about and hopefully will get to come home. Tina, it's good to get your information together before you have the surgery. I started messing around with the protein drinks a few weeks prior to my surgery just so I would have a taste for them. The problem with the powders is that you have to mix them with at least two or three ounces of some liquid and immediately post op, I had trouble getting two ounces of anything in. Make sure you use a blender to mix them, that way they are like shakes. I also add fresh fruit to mine. Hubby, who hasn't had weightloss surgery, enjoys drinking one with me at night. Rhonda, I am supposed to go back to my surgeon the end of this month, I'll let you know and maybe we can meet up for some coffee. I am always ready to stop when I hit Dequeen and again in Texarkana. Susan and I are meeting in Russellville tomorrow, and I'm hoping that we will have others join us but if not, she and I can spend the time getting to know one another. That is what is so great about wls, we suddenly find ourselves in need of other mutants like ourselves, because truly, no one can even begin to understand any part of our journey. Certainly not the hoops we have to jump through nor the anticipation of the results of our test or the excitement of getting our dates and all the problems and ups and downs that we face as we begin to lose the weight. Well, I hope you all have a great day.

Hi Jeannie, Do you mean the crater of diamonds? Did you hear some guy found a 2.3 carat stone a couple of weeks ago?? Now that would be something to tell your students about when school starts again. How do you get there? Do you go down interstate 30? We live just one mile south of the interstate, so we'll talk about that tomorrow. Are either of the Fort Smith ladies coming with you? I need to call Cathi in a little bit to see if she's coming or not. I'm very excited about my little "road trip" tomorrow. Car's gassed up, windshield clean, CD's sorted, and your cell # in my purse. Can't wait!!!! Susan
