What's happening?
I miss the huge pot of coffee that I used to drink every single morning, but I like that I can still drink one cup, so this morning, I am sipping my cup of coffee and getting ready to read the research material that I got my hands on.
Our trip is planned and we are meeting in Russellville at the Western Sizzler on Sunday and I forgot the time, but will make an official post later today.
Everyone is welcome and for those in my part of the state who want to catch a ride with me, just let me know. I, for one, am looking forward to meeting Susan and any others who come out. Last year, I met two of the women from the over fifty forum and we that meeting developed into a great friendship. IN fact, later on, I visited Jan and on the 12th she is coming to Arkansas to visit me for a few days. These meetins are of utmost importance for many reasons but the main reason is for support, and not anonymous support either. As supportive as my hubby is, there is no way he can possibly understand what it feels like to dump or have the foamies or worry about loose skin or thinning hair or bad breath or funny smelling urine or uneven weight loss. He just can't understand it. Nor can he understand how happy I am that I can sit in a chair and put my shoes on and bend over and tie them and that I can sit in a tub and that I can put my own bra on and brush my hair and fit in a stall in the public restrooms and on and on. But you, my friends, you know what I mean. So, plan on coming out and meeting up and having a great time talking and comparing notes and learning.
Nothing much has happened on the board since my last writing, but I am going to keep on keeping on and hopefully after things settle down from the holidays, folks will start coming on and posting.
Today, I am going to read and maybe make some chili. When hubby gets off work, we will go to the gym and walk on the treadmill and ride the bike and talk about the fish in the tank in the lobby that need clean water. Oh, I wish they would take better care of their fish.
Hope you all have a great day.
peace,
