Hello everyone. I hope you all are doing well and ready to enjoy the man in the big red suit. Jen, how are you doing? Did you get the answers you needed from the support group?

Morning Jeannie, I see you're going to San Diego next month. We're from a small town north east of downtown SD, lived there all our lives until our move to Arkansas a year and a half ago. Wish I could go with.....sounds like fun, and I'd be a great tour guide, but it's just too soon after the holidays for me. Our San Diego Chargers are doing so well if they go to the Super Bowl we're going to break the piggy bank and go home to watch it with the family. Pretty frivilous to spend that kind of money to watch a football game on TV........but knowing the Chargers, it might not ever happen again. Glad to see you made it through the semester. How much longer until you finish? Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a great trip to San Diego! Your friend from Saline County, Susan

Susan, I am not going to San Diego. I wanted to take my husband and they don't allow men and he was going to go but stay in a seperate hotel and then that seemed like so foolish. So, I am not going. I can't justify spending so much money on a vacation for just me. I know that sounds like I am man controlled but my hubby encourgaed me to go. But if I don't go, we can go to the keys this summer and spend a couple of weeks and have a lot of fun together. I would much rather do that. I lived in San Diego for a long long time too. I can finish in a year, but I am going to take advantage of a fellowship that allows me at least three years of financial assistance. That would give me time to knock off another language and get more experience teaching as well as take more classes. So, I will probably drag it out for about three years.
