Surgery date is November 9th!!!

I have my surgery scheduled for November 9th, less than 3 weeks away! I am so excited, anxious, nervous, so many emotions...I go for my consult today and will be deciding if I'm going to have open or lap RNY...I am opting for laproscopic, but will see what the doctor thinks.. I'd love to hear from those who've had the lap vs. the open...I just want healing to be easier. Well, wish me luck and I'll let you know what the doc says!

I had laproscopic RNY on October 13th, and I'm so glad I opted for lap rather than open. I had never had surgery before, so the pain kinda got to me, but I'm 3 weeks post-op and I have very, very little pain, and have lost 33 lbs and 3 inches from my waist. Good luck!!!
