Greetings from Mountain Home. Has anyone in Arkansas Forum had the VSG? I am scheduled to have it done in Mexico on the 25th and would like to talk to someone local. Thanks, Heidi

If you visit the Vertical sleeve board here it will give you a bunch of info. I had mine 10 days ago and feel great. It basicly removes 2/3 of your stomach so there is very little gherlin produced so you do not experience hunger. There is no malabsorbtions and no fills to worry about. Check it out.

Hello, wondering how you are doing now? I've been researching Lapband but also been wondering about the vertical sleeve. My mom had a form of this years back, removal of over 60% of her stomach due to severe ulcers. Although she's suffered from lactose intolerance, constipation, gas pains and indigestion, she's kept her weight down to 135lbs for years. I just am not sure what to do at this point although I'm still leaning towards the Lapband. Thanks! Laura

I am now 2 months and 1 week out and I am doing great. I have lost 36 lbs and a ton of inches. I have gone from a 22/24 to a solid 18. I do not have to see a Dr. to have fills. I have not had a PB experience or severe energy loss. This has been one of the best decisions of my life. If you have any specific questions please do not hesitate to ask.
