Re; Self Pay in Ark.

Hi All, has anyone done the self pay route with Dr. Gibbs? I'm wondering total cost...i've had some pre-op testing in Ok, but my insurance decided to notify me now that it was excluded...I really want this procedure...if someone could give me an idea of your experience, I've heard that AR is about 10 grand cheaper than OK....I'm wondering why?

I was self pay, but my surgeon was Dr. Wellborn. I was ableto be done as outpatient at the surgery center (no health promblems and bmi of around 40). My total cost was 13,200. I had my surgery April 27, 2006.

I am going to see Dr. Wellborn. I am self pay. Were you able to make payments on the $13,200? Thanks, Crystal

I am self pay and i was quoted the price of $21000 for the surgery. Carla
