Dr. John W. Baker in Little Rock
Hi everyone...I am "tentatively" scheduled for rny gastric bypass surgery with Dr. John W. Baker in Little Rock on September 18. I have had an extremely positive experience thus far with his staff - they seem great. And everything I've read or seen about Dr. Baker so far has been good, too. Have any of you guys used him for gastric bypass or other wls, and what were your experiences like? Thanks in advance for your responses!
I used him last year for my RNY. I have nothing but good things to say about him. Though at first I didn't care for his manner because he's in your face but now that I'm used to it I like him. He is very good at what he does and cares a whole lot for his patients. He is a very good cheerleader.
Can't wait to see you on the losing side. Congrats!!

I love Dr. Baker. He is brutaliy honest and tells it like it is. He doesn't sugar coat the surgery or the risks. He also tells you all the wonderful things a life free of obesity can bring. I have open RNY on February 20, 2006 and so far have lost 108 lbs. He saved my life and I trusted him from the moment we met.
