having alot of trouble! please help

i had roux n y 14 months ago. i started having severe nausea and vommiting, malnutrition and severe left side pain. ihad a hernia repair on 6/1/06 and thought this would get me back on track. the pain is still present. i have had mris,cat scans, i have been referred to a pain specialist and no one can find the source of this pain. i have done everything to the letter since day one and my surgeon can not find the source of this pain. this pain is "inside" on the left,about the area of my bra strap i think it is around the pancreas area. i keep telling the doctors that its inside. does any one have any similar symptoms? i have been praying for answers since feb 2006 w/out any resolution. at one point i thought i just cant go on this way any longer. i am considering asking my surgeon if a reversal is possible.

Peggy, I'm sorry I can't help you, I'm still pre-op, but I want you to know that at least someone read your post and is thinking about you. This message board isn't very active. Are you sure the pain is on your left side? Because if it were on your right side, I would say it is likely gallstones or other gallbladder disease. I had to have my gallbladder removed in 1997, an there's really no pain like it. Gallstones or slush may be diagnosed through ultrasound. Best of luck to you!

hello,i cant wear a bra for the left side under my arm has so much skin it feels like the circulation is being cut off and is very painful.i too had rny a couple of years ago and a 4 hernia removel that went bad. hope this helps...kate
