Hello =)

Hello i m new to the boards here but i have been reading alot of stories and gettin alot of infomation from alot of posts on the Dr's ppl have choose and how well people have done on there surgery. This information has been so helpful in my desicion to get the lap band done and i thanks all of u that have posted your advice and stories. I have chossen to go with Dr. Lutrell and i have a date for July 31, 2006. I got to say i'm a little nervous but overall i m very excited, i feel i have a new lease on life. 16 days and counting i cant wait !

Hi Kim, I am brand new to the board and saw that you have Dr. Wellborn as your surgeron. He is my surgeron too and we are being "banded" the same day. What time is your surgery? Mine is at 9:30 am but I have to be at the hospital at 7:30. I would love to talk to you as we progress though this exciting new phase of our lives. Donell

Hiya! Congrats on your upcoming surgery! I'd like to encourage you to post your surgery date on your profile so that others may see you have a date approaching and you could glean some support. You can do that, if you wish, by clicking My Account up top and then choose the link in the middle column (near the bottom) that says "I've Got A Date!". Best of luck to you!
