NWA support group mtg TONIGHT

Hey everyone! I am the bariatric coordinator for Washington Regional Medical Center. I have run a weight loss support group for over a year that I would love any and all of you to attend. We meet the Second Wed of each month (which is today) at 5:30 at the Center for exercise in the lower level lobby. We discuss nutrition, weight loss issues and coping mechanisms. I do not limit it to weight loss surgery patients but do encourage our patients to attend. I would love to meet all of you. I will warn you that we will not be meeting in August (as I will be out on medical leave for surgery) but We will start again in Sept. FYI there is also a support group that meets the second Sunday of every month @ St. Mary's hospital in the basement auditorium. I go to that one and its a great group of people. It's not limited to RNY anyone can come. Jan

Jan, don't know what happened that earlier reply was for the other person (was her name Cathy?). I attended the support group in Rogers when I was pre-op and found it very motivating. I have just been tooooo lazy to attend now. I should try to make time to attend. Give back, you know??? Looking forward to meeting you. Dawna

Hi Dawna, I would love to attend! I couldn't go on this past Wed, because I was returning from Coffeyville, KS, where I see my fill doctor (Nurse practitioner).
