Baptist Med. Hosp Group Meetings

Hi, I went to my first support group meeting earlier this month at Baptist Med. Hosp in LR and I had a blast. Wow what a meeting, I think I am gonna try to get a ride and go every month from now on. I was wondering if there is anyone here that went? I was wearing a red shirt and was all the way on the right side of the auditorium. I can't remember the woman's name that did all the talking at the meeting, but I liked her a lot, I enjoyed talking to her after the meeting. You know I am glad that Dr Wellborn requires the meetings now, last year when I first went in for surgery (but was cancelled due to breathing problems) he didn't require us to go to a support group meeting, but it was recommended. I can definitly see how going to the meetings helps make everything easier.

I go to the meeting up here on Rogers instead. I live to far away to go to that meeting. My surgeon was Dr. Baker and he doesn't require them but strongly suggests them. I'm glad you had a good time I like my group too. Jan

Jan, I'm having lapband in Little Rock on the 17th. Are the Rogers meetings open to anyone? I could sure use a support group. I live in Bentonville. Christi
