I have posted a few times on the Lap-Band forum...still getting the hang of it. I work full-time so keeping up with the massive amount of posting is almost impossible. I saw this Arkansas one and thought I'd say HI!!!!! My Lap-Band surgery is scheduled for tomorrow. Been quite an ordeal. Still waiting on PCP to send over my lab results to surgeon...hopefully not another snafu! Anyway, be thinking of me....and I'll be thinking of you!

Congratulations! This is my first post so maybe we can learn together. I am still in the looking stage. I want to have lapband but don't really know if I'm a candidate. Who & where is your doctor? I think I will go to Dr. Hornbostel's seminar in July at Sedalia. I have to go to a Centyer of Exellence and AR doesn't have any. I live in north central AR so Sedalia or Memphis is my best bet. Let me know how it goes for you. I'm really interested. Marilyn

I hope everything went well with your surgery. I had a rough first week, but after that everything was much better. It wasn't really rough it was just more uncomfortable than I had expected. I had my surgergy April 27th and my first fill was yesterday. I'm glad to see others from AR that have bands.
