Do any of you visit other forums? If you haven't been to the over 50s forum, you should all drop in. It might help us get busy with this one. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep the posts coming?

I go to the May 2005 Surgery board...that's because that's when I had my surgery. It has gotten quiet again over there too. Jan

I like to visit other boards too, but I am giving this one my priority until we get it up and running. Arkansas wls pre and post ops need this. When they come here and see no posts, there is nothing that can help them, no advise. I want this place to be a place where we can all learn and grow and to do that, we have to each one of us post and use our experiences to teach and be taught. I can't wait to have the surgery, but in the meantime, I hope that you guys who have had the surgery can be here, posting and letting me know things.

Well, I have been sick since Saturday with diverticulitis and haven't felt like posting. I am better today. I imagine there are alot of people on vacation, busy with kids out of school, babysitting grandkids whose moms are working. etc. etc. etc. I spend most of my time reading profiles trying to see how everyone's surgery experience was since that is what is occupying my thoughts these days. LOL. I'm a weenie, but I figure it can't hurt much worse than what I have been through the last 3 or 4 days. It has been awful, searing, cramping pain....and the Lorcet made me nauseous...I was out of my arthritis pain pills which don't give me any side effects whatsoever except relieve the pain! And, the metronidazol antibiotic has given me diarrhea. I am eating yogurt to remedy that!

Ouch, diveriticulitis. I agree that there are a lot of people missing in action. I just want to get the lurkers out and writing.
