I know this isnt' really pertinent to the forum, but it is pertinent to my well being, my grandson, the two year old, that I have custody of, is now bottle broke and and we are doing the potty chair thing. My back will surely appreciate the no more changing diapers. He is a good baby and I wouldn't do anything any differently, but changing his diaper is like changing the contacts on a alligator, death roll and all.

He i****ting his terrible twos but at the same time, he is the most lovable of my two grandsons. He is happy, that's a fact.

Yup, been there, done that on 3 of 'em...now I am working on #4. He isn't big enough to do the alligator roll yet but give him time. Maybe by then I will be stronger! LOL.

When my older grandson was a baby, well from his birth until he started school. I had him every single day. He, though, was different than the two year old. I guess, because when he was born, I was in a wheel chair and for the first three years, I was in a wheel chair and he must have had an instinct to be gentle on the old woman in the chair. But this one, man, he is as active as I don't know what. But at the same time, he is as lovable as can be. I think he is this way because of his mother's neglecting him. He has a presence and demands my attention. He is doing better.

Bless his little heart! He is fortunate to have you and I bet you feel fortunate to have him. They are so precious to us. Grandchildren are so much fun.

Oh my, I wouldn't have it any other way. I mean, if not me, who? I can't imagine him with a foster parent and with strangers. I will fight for him and the older one until I draw my last breath. I'm sure you are the same.

Yes! There is no way in you know where that some stranger is going to raise a grandchild of mine!
