About to lose insurance.

You will love them! They are all so nice. Kim has had lapband by Dr. Merriman at Doctors and she said she had a wonderful experience at Doctors. I asked her if Doctors was cheaper than Schumpert like I had heard and she said yes! She has lost 81 pounds with the band...she looks great...but she is not a 61 y/o like me! LOL. OK, when you go for you appointment on 6/22 email me ahead of time and we can meet for lunch or just for coffee or tea or a soft drink. Will you come through Little Rock or take I 40 down to Texarkana and then on down to Shreveport? I don't know which way would be best for you. ... but surely we can get together some time. Around 6/22 I might be right around my surgery date...or I might still be in the hospital and you could come visit me there! We will work it out somehow. He has support group there in Shreveport, but said he is willing to get some going in other places where he has patients...so you can probably attend one near you somewhere. It won't be a big problem for me to go to Shreveport once a month for support group and then if and when we get one going here in El Dorado I can just attend here. He is really, really big on followup...in his opinion he is your doctor for the rest of your life. He does his own EGDs...I don't remember if you said you had already had one or not. He also told me he uses no catheters postop...you will wake up without anything but your VI for your painpump....unless you have complications. He also told me he has never lost a patient from this surgery and has been doing the RNY for 10 years or so and the lapband for 3 or 4 years. I am so glad you got an appointment with him...I think you will really like him.
