Hi FRIENDS!
So Here I am 8 years post op and overweight again. I woke up this morning with a renewed desire to take off the 35 pounds I had regained. This was before I weighed this morning, alas it is now 40 pounds of regain. My lowest weight was 143 and here I sit at 183! NOT Happy with myself at all. The surgery did not fail me...My mindset failed me. I allowed food to take center stage again. I got careless. I started stopping for fast foods, drinking with my meals, eating no value foods and ignoring the needs of this tool. The need is my cooperation! I stopped drinking water and added carbonated soda's and this is what I get for it. 40 pounds re-gained! I am done folks as of today I am back on the wagon and determined to lose these pounds. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I once again wage war with my will. I can't go back, I won't go back! I am determined to see 140 and a size 10 AGAIN!

Hope your feeling better!
My daughter is sick. Fever,etc so we're snuggling in the chair today. Did manage to get in a Pilates workout.
So far today its been coffee and Greek yogurt with protein powder, strawberries, and blueberries mixed in.
Dinner will be salmon patties with quinoa, quick and easy since she won't sit with anyone but me when she's sick.
Snacks, I have no clue....will play it by ear if I need something.

Sorry I didn't post yesterday...had a dentist appt to get a temp crown and then worked from home...
Eats today:
B1-1/2 c cottage cheese with NSA peaches and 1 slice ww toast
B2-grilled chicken breast
L-Lean cuisine pizza
S-Chobani yogurt
S-clementine
S-banana
D-not sure-bunco night
No exercise since I have bunco

I had a pretty busy day...
Morning was coffee then a shake
Lunch was a slice of pumpernickle bread with a slice of pesto Jack cheese
Afternoon snack was the same
Got home from class late and had a late dinner of homemade ricotta with vanilla sf davincis and sliced strawberries....soooo yummy!
Exercise was an hour of Pilates and housework
Morning was coffee then a shake

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I got lots of running in: Ran Thursday, Saturday and yesterday. Sunday I did P90X upper and abs. Tonight is the Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner at church, so I wont be exercising...that and I'm coming down with a cold...my throat is all scratchy.

B2-grilled chicken breast
S-Slim jim
L-sushi
S-protein bar
S-Chobani
D-beans and sausage

Thanks ever so much! I sure do not want to have this surgery and not succeed or have issues that I should have dealt with. I have wanted this for far too long. I have no addictions or anything like that I have just always been a stress eater and being the mother of 2 mentally disabled adults can be very trying any day of the week. I have to stay on the emotional roller coaster they are experiencing daily but, it is starting to get a little easier as one no longer lives at home and the other is fairly independant now at 21. Maybe 1 or 2 bad days a week but nothing like the challenge of them being children and scrambling with all the doctors to try and figure out what was actually wrong or what we could do to help them! I have been blessed a million times over on so many occassions!! So I just waited to get things a little more in order where I knew I could have some me time going through this process! My daughter is my biggest fan so we are ready!

I had a cherry/almond protein shake for breakfast and was stuffed til dinner. Made chicken pot pie from scratch with lots of veggies and a gf sauce. Ate maybe 1/4 c. Not good on protein or liquids today. Grumpy pouch. Need to find something it likes me to drink!
1 hr of Pilates and cleaned the house top to bottom in place of a walk.
