Topic: Denied based on wrong info....grrr
Had my consult yesterday with Dr Sherer.  Valerie submitted my info to BCBSAL and they denied it.  She said my BMI was too low in 2010....
So I started asking questions and they had entered my height as 5' 7" and I'm only 5' 5"!!!!!
She's trying again today. 
What if I hadn't asked questions.....????

did biggest loser cardio blast dvd this morning - pretty good!

B - hot protein drink
S - 8 PB filled pretzel nuggets
L - piece of chicken breast with cheese melted on it
S - baby bell lite cheese and SF pudding cup
D - black bean balls...dipped in FF sour cream
S - hot protein drink

Well, I had to do it.  They could now feel a mass in Callie the size of an egg, and she stopped eating and drinking.  She had a good kitty life.  She would've been 14 on the 11th of June.  RIP Miss Callie.

Eats today:
B1-2/3 of a Jimmy Dean Delights breakfast sandwich
B2-grilled chicken breast
S-banana
L-Lean Cuisine, watermelon
S-Chobani blood orange
D-salad from Zoe's-greek salad with grilled chicken

No dessert

No exercise (meeting a friend after work for dinner)

Just a quick update, My surgery has been moved to the 13th of June. I had my presurgery visit yesterday. I go to preregister on Tuesday.so things are moving in the right direction.

Oh I am sooo sorry.....that is a terrible thing to go through! I have 4 cats and LOVE them!! And recently had to put my 16.5 year old dog to sleep and I am so sorry that you are going through that.

Today is a sad day.  My dear cat, Callie, is losing her battle with what they suspect is stomach cancer.  I'll take her back to vet today, and will likely have to make a horrible decision.

Well here we are again....another new week.

Yesterday was one of those "I can eat all day" days and never get satisfied.  Most of you know, when I feel that way, I just go with it.  I try to eat good stuff, but a few oreos and M&Ms did find their way into me!

Today is not so bad. 

Eats today:
B1-most of a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich
B2-grilled chicken breast
S-banana
L-Healthy Choice meal
S-watermelon
S-Chobani
D-grilled pork chops and asparagus

Dessert-s/f pudding

Exercise:  P90X arms/shoulders and Power90 Ab 200

Good Morning John.  I read ever day but do not post but maybe once a month.    I have found that the further out the harder it is to keep the weight off.    You can do it,  just start back over like you did when you first had your surgery.  Go back to basic's,  protein first and foremost,  at least 64 oz of water, the new studies are now saying as much as half your body weight.   If you weigh 200 pounds half that and you would need 100 oz/day.   Make sure you are taking all your vitamins and your B12.  No drinking for 30 minutes before you eat and wait 30 minutes after you eat.    We can do it, just have to get our brain wrapped around wanting to get the weight back off.    I had gotten on a carb kick and have to kick it in the butt.   Keep us informed.

Have you all been jumping for joy because we are in the summer fruit season???  I've already eaten my weight in watermelon!  I have a plate of it on my desk as I type!  It is 10:00 in the morning and I'm eating watermelon and 1/2 of my lunch sandwich..........that's how I roll.

Eats today:
B1-1/2 c cottage cheese with NSA peaches and 1 slice raisin toast
B2-1/2 grilled chicken breast
L1-1/2 ham and cheese sandwich and several slices of watermelon
L2-other 1/2 sandwich and some cucumber, tomato and onion salad
S-Chobani
S-rest of the chicken?
D-Hamburger helper I think....not sure-took out ground beef....we'll see what it becomes
