We are forcasted to get more snow tonight, all day tomorrow and Monday. In all, they are saying 5-7 inches. WOO HOO!! Call me crazy, but I am excited!!!

WOW!!!! Powerful statement. A power greater than ourselves. And Sanity? What is your take on this step? I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ as my greater power. Sanity, to me, is individual. Sanity to me might not be sanity to another. I see it as restoring health both physical and mental to the best degree possible for me.
To those who are non-believers, they have a different greater power . The key is "BELIEVE" that a power greater than ourselves..."

If not for second and third chances I would not be the person I am today. Addiction is addiction no matter what kind. There is NO CURE, just treatment. If you fail today, start new tomorrow.
Louise, you are so right in that these steps work for more than AA and Al-Anon. In fact, my surgeon told me point blank that he had never had a problem with alcohol or drugs BUT he highly recommended the 12-step program for his patients after surgery.
If not for second and third chances I would not be the person I am today. Addiction is addiction no matter what kind. There is NO CURE, just treatment. If you fail today, start new tomorrow.

no. i've been on here for about 4 years i think....same screen name. Dewitt did my RNY in 2005.

this happened to me too! luckily crestwood does allow you to make payment arrangements. i actually had enough time though to get all of it in prior to my surgery (mine was like $1300) and about two months later i was looking at my bank account (for no related reason) and there was a $700 credit from crestwood. idk why, i didnt second guess it....lol
