I thought you had used Lappert thats why i was confused when you said Gray. LOL. I am going to consult w/ dr Lappert also. I hear its wise to consult w/ numerous surgeons. I want to lose a lil more weight first. Being 5 years post op that is hard for me but im constantly trying!!

I may have asked you this and if i have please disregard, but did you take pics or have pics that you'd be willing to share from your surgery w/ Lappert? If not thats totally ok was just curious.

Hope your healing well. I hate your all couped up still!!!

so did she pick the dress that you had already posted? BTW, i love the Say Yes to the Dress show on TLC. makes me almost want to get married. LOL

I did 20 minutes on the elliptical last night. a big no no according to my dr as my skin has pulled away from my stitches leaving a hole. I figure the holes already there so i'll do another 10-20 minutes tonight maybe only holding on and not using my arms.

B-1/2c cottage cheese w. 5 grapes and 4tiny blueberries. not as good as my peaches but i was not home.
L-kraut and polish sausage, broccoli and cheese and pintos.
S-Kashi bar (if needed)
D-i'll be picking up J from Jans so i'll eat there prob.

I was worried about gaining bc i was at Jans last week and then at my moms and has all out of whack BUT i lost a pound. its better than a gain!!!

Hope you have a great day!

Had a fun, busy weekend!  Stephanie "said yes to a dress"!  Her dress is gorgeous!  We also went to the bridal show and that was fun.  My 3 sisters were here too from LA and we had a great time hanging out and playing that dance game on the Wii!  My sister is a photographer and she did some "boudoir" shots for me--can't wait to see those (it was very comical--that is so not me!)

Went running Saturday, and did P90X yesterday....which is good because we also had king cake my sisters brought up!

Food today:
B-quiche
S-Kashi bar
L-taco soup
S-Chobani yogurt
D-red beans with ham and sausage

I am cooking beans today to take to the office tomorrow--two huge pots on the stove cooking and will cook all day.  Gonna go run this afternoon.

Have a good day!

Thanks, I'll email him also . I was also a military wife (USAF), I'm just checking some PS out right now I know about the wait so far they all have a little different amount of months to wait.I'm curious about what I need to have done & the difference in cost to me after my insurance pays their part.

Also...FYI...it's best to be about 18 months out from WLS before you attempt PS. Make sure your weight loss has stabilized. You will be wasting your time if you have it done too soon! Mine was done at about 16 months.

I have seen Dr. Allison in a couple of seminars. He seems nice and competent. However,...they are the BIG money group in Huntsville. I will NEVER forget the way I felt when I interviewed for a clerical position in their office...before I ever had WLS. They were rude, and I felt VERY out of place in an office of "beautiful people". But...that' just "me". I think they would be my last choice.

For insurance purposes, I used Dr. Patrick Lappert in Decatur. I had the abdominoplasty, paniculectomy, breast lift/augmentation all at the same time. I have been very plesaed with my results. He is very nice, and his nurse Corey is good as well. A small office, 1 Doctor practice. He is former Navy, and since I was a militray wife in a "former life"...that was a comfort zone for me.

Good luck!
