Its good that you felt like getting out and about.  I wouldnt go out and start buying brand new clothes because that will cost you.  I  changed sizes every week.  I went to GOODWILL and the Thrift Store in ALabaster.  Alot of yardsales too.

I was an off-on smoker for a long time. Before and After surgery. I dont think my surgeon tested for nicotine. I havent had a cigarette all year. I didnt have one the whole month of December either. Its easier to quit before surgery and find vices that work for you like Kim said. I couldnt turn to food so i smoked when i was stressed. bad, bad, bad. Im 5 years post op and im still learning. its a never ending battle. I think you'll be fine tho!

Congrats on getting approved!!

The thing is smokers heal ALOT slower than a non smoking  person. Wilth this surgery your having you want EVERY ADVANTAGE possible and fastg healing is one of those...
Dont smoke anymore or be around a smoker and you should be ok ,,

I don't think my surgeon's office even checked for nicotine.  I have picked up the smoking habit and would love to stop.   It is a work thing for me.  I don't smoke at home...unless I am having a little drink!
