I think you have done an amazing job.  Congrats on your goal!

Sometimes I think I want to hit that 120 mark just for the # but being 20-25 lbs heavier than that isn't so bad either!  LOL  I am content with my "goal" weight now too  :)

You are amazing!  I look up to folks like you that have such long term success.  I hope the knee is healing nicely--I'm sure I will be looking at knee replacements in about 10 years....mine are shot from being obese and I now have arthritis....oddly though the running makes them better....I just hope they hold up for a long time to come!

Have a great weekend.

Good for you!! Sometimes what we want our goal to be, and what our body dictates, just don't agree! I am back to my lowest weight of 139...and I am happy with that! I could probably lose another 10 lbs or so...but I don't think I would look healthy at that weight.

I just had total knee replacement surgery on my left knee on Jan. 5th. Taking liquid Lortab and eating horrible food for 2 wks helped me lose a few pounds!

Have a great weekend!

Topic: At goal

Today I finally accepted that I am more than likely at goal.  I even changed my goal weight in the Health Tracker and updated my ticker.  And I am so okay with this!

No, I am not a normal BMI.....I'd still need to lose another 5 lbs to get there...but I'll bet the extra skin I'm carrying around weighs at least that!

And yes, I did actually weigh 3 lbs less than I do now...............for one week............almost a year ago...........never saw it again.

I have been at this weight since the end of May 2010.  I can easily maintain it and I eat a normal amount of food--I do not starve myself nor do I deprive myself.  I am healthy and I can physically do pretty much anything I want to  (STILL haven't mastered the unassisted pull up though!).

So today I have officially updated my ticker and my goal weight..............Yeay me!

Weighed in today--back down to the lower end of my range....I was much better abou****ching what I put in my mouth this week.  Still not 100% back in the intensity of my workouts, but I got most of them in this week.  I'm trying something new--high intensity interval training.  You do bursts of running (at 8 on the treadmill) followed by fast walking (at 4) you do these intervals for 30 seconds for a total of 20 minutes.  It is hard to stay on the treadmill at 8!

Food today:

B-cottage cheese, NSA peaches and 1 sl toast
S-Kashi bar
L-Chunky chicken and sausage gumbo soup and 5 crackers
S-grapes, chobani cherry yogurt
D-meatloaf and peas

no dessert as I'll have a bloody mary tonight!

This weekend I'll run and hike, and probably do 1 weight workout.  I'm off to Norcross again Monday-Thursday but I'll have my computer so I'll still post.

Have a great weekend!

We've got to keep moving to stay warm!  Last night we had the "perfect" snow!  It looks pretty and it did not mess up the roads!  I hope this is the end of the Winter storms.....we've got some Spring-like weather coming next week!

Food today:

B-Jimmy Dean D-Light bagel breakfast sandwich
S-almonds
L-chicken breast and brussel sprouts, nectarine
S-crackers and laughing cow cheese wedge, Chobani mango yogurt
D-pork chop and veggies

Dessert-coffee

I'll do interval running on the treadmill tonight for 30 mins.
