Still in Norcross--went to a local Italian restaurant last night--food was just okay.  I love the gym at my hotel--did my HIIT on the treadmill last night and will hit the weights tonight.

Food today:

B-egg, 1 sl bacon 1/2 piece toast and a few bites of canteloupe/pineapple
S-Kashi bar
L-apple, a few slim jims (not eating a real meal for lunch--going for su****onight)
D-sushi

I always feel "puffy" when I'm not at home....maybe I don't drink as much as I do at home....I am going to try to get some more water in today.....or more hot tea.  It could be the sodium in the restaurant food as I'm used to doing my own cooking......oh well, I'll "de-puff" when I get home!

Gotta get my lottery tickets today!  The Powerball pot is up to $101 million!!!  That would buy a lot of cute shoes!!

Have a great day OH family!!

Hey Rose With Thorns    I made the suggestion on FB that if we did not do Oak Mountain in April maybe everyone getting together for a lunch sometime in April or early May.  Several liked that idea.

I cheated......
I used 1/2 roll of the Jennie-O Turkey Sausage that has 9g of fat, browned it in a skillett, then added it to a box of Martha White cornbread mix (prepare the mix as directed on the box), and then stirred in about 1/2 - 3/4 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese.

Baked it in my small cast iron skillet just like regular cornbread.

Not too bad.........the bread portion is bad but the turkey sausage and cheese add some protein!

I make up different stuff sometimes because I get bored with the same foods after a while.  Had been craving cornbread so experimented with a way to add in protein!
