I am 6 days post op. I am so tired of liquids I am ready to scream. The worst time is like now when the fam is having a veggie pizza that is filling the house. So hungry. I know I can't eat and mess up my suture line or dump, or any other side effect. Anybody have any liquid creations that aren't sweet that are safe.

Topic: maybe moving to Birmingham
I maybe offered a position in Birmingham to live for a great job.. here is the thing Hubby is going to PGH and I will be going to AL.. Im glad for the move but scared bout moving there knowing I had this surgery and would have to find a surgeon down there. My hubby just got a great position with his company but I would be making more money and it is hard to swallow... he has been wanting this position for a long time.. i dont want to kill his thunder but he doesnt want to come to Al.. hmm.. what should I do..

Morning!

B-1/2c cottage cheese w. cinnamon and splenda
S-lg unsweet tea w/ splenda
L-smoked bbq chicken breast w/ few bites of baked beans
S-protein shake
d-protein shake? we'll be at the ball fields til 7..cant eat that late.

i'll walk around the track at the ballfield for 30-45 mins.

I'm in Norcross--it is raining and cold....uuuggghh.

Today's eats:

B-scrambled egg, a few bites of bacon and sausage, 1/2 piece of toast
S-Kashi bar
L-Subway?
S-orange
D-not sure yet

I'll go do an upper body weight workout tonight.

starting is the hardest part!!! I have come to love McDonalds biscuits. I find myself stopping there every morning....So im going to avoid mcdonalds. I know the things i need to do, DOING THEM is the harder part!!! Congrats on the 18lbs lost, if they came off once, they'll come off again!!! We can do this!! lets do it together!!!! I want to lose atleast 30lbs, but im working in 10lbs goals.

i need the support too. i'll be posting every Friday morning if you want to join then lets do it! if not, i'll still post it!!

Hi Hilary.  If I could get my act together I would love to do this.  I was doing so well a few weeks ago and then I had "stuff" get in the way.  I quickly put back on the pounds I had lost.  And it was not a small loss....I had lost 18 pounds.
I will try to get it all together!!!  I need the support!!!

Dr. Clements is a Vanderbuilt now and Dr. Richard Stahl took his place at UAB.  He is a fantastic doctor and actually performed my husbands surgery last August.  I also see him for my follow-up visits.

Topic: Anyone want to do a weekly weigh-in?
Im trying to lose weight and get this regain off. I know some others are as well. Would anyone be willing to join in on a weekly weigh-in on Fridays? You dont have to post your weight unless you want just -/+ what you've lost/gained. Could even add a picture with it to show your progress if you feel like it! I feel like i need to stay accountable to someone since i really am trying to lose this craptastic weight i've accumilated. I've set a 3lbs a week goal bc im starting to exercise more and make better choices. i've never been an exercise person so im praying thats the key!!!

So, if your up for it let me know. I will be glad to post these but i want support and for yall to join in!!!
