Has anyone on this forum used Dr. Lee Schmitt for a VSG? I've read all the reviews on him that I can find, and he seems like a really great doctor, I just wanted to know if anyone had first hand experience.

Awww... I hope it's nothing serious. If you hear even the slightest news about him or his staff, please let me know. I haven't even been to see anybody else, with the exception of one visit with another doctor in the same area but I guess I need to find someone closer to my area and work route. Keep us posted here. I don't know about anyone else but I appreciate you taking the time out to post!

I testes positive for hpylori prior to surgery and they gave me antibiotics. And just recently I was retested because I had been having some severe stomach pains and yes I tested positive again. I took my antibiotics and I'm taking prilosec. Waiting to go back to the doctor so I can see what's going on.

I am a failed band pt. I am interested in how to challenge for a revision. If I have read several things correct there are chances for a revision. I have asked around and some advise that I need to start with a doctor visit as well with contacting an attorney. With that said I do plan a visit very soon. I am in the process of printing all the documentation that I can find on petitioning and challenging a revision. Also, is there an attorney in the Birmingham area that handles insurance stuff?
I have reviewed the insurance documents that are available and it appears that they would cover a sleeve.
I am willing to provide more information if needed. Please let me know.

St Vincent's East is a great facility and is a Bariatric Center if Excellence. We have support group meetings every third weekend and are open to outside patients.
