My Farewell To You All

Since you were so curious as to who deactivated, the original poster was a well respected long time staff member.

I knew who it was and quite frankly thought the whole "farewell" was a bit overly dramatic.

Life moves on.  People change, they come and go.  That is the beauty of life.  The only constant is change.  If it is your time to move on....then do so......I don't know that the big dramatic exit is necessary or warranted.

Just my two cents.

Kim, Since you "know who it was" then maybe you do not care that she has been diagnosed with Guillian Barre' which is the same disease that killed her Grandfather. Overly dramatic?  Not at all.  Compasionate? Yes.  It was her time to move on and move on she has.

Just my two cents

I hear you-and no I didn't know of this diagnosis.....I only know this person from their past posts.

I'm not a fan of the dramatic "final post" with no regard for anyone that may want to say goodbye....just poof, deactivation.

Everyone has their reasons, and I respect that.  I was just expressing my point of view, not judging.
