Birmingham Surgeons?

What doctor did you use in the B'ham area and would you use them again?

Dr. Sherrer and Yes, he was honest, caring and compassionate.

I'm with Lisa--he is amazing, and I'd use him again in a heartbeat!  As a matter of fact, I have....had to have two lumps removed and he did that surgery last year.

How do y'all go about  choosing this particular doctor?

I researched him on the Internet (there are several sites where you can review/research a doctor) and more importantly, I knew several of his patients!  I also know several people in the medical profession and they spoke very highly of him.

I had appointments with 2 other guys that didn't work out, and I'm so glad.  Ended up with Andrew Dewitt, who actually grew up 5 miles from me, and I would never consider anyone else.  I've sent 3 people to him, and they have been ecstatic also.  My case was a difficult one, so he scheduled me last in the day.  He was working on me for 4-1/2 hours, and it came out perfect.  I had zero problems, and also had ZERO pain post-op.  Never took any of the pain meds he prescribed.  He's at Princeton.  The care I got at that hospital was AMAZING!
