Support Group in Huntsville, Al ?

Does anyone know when & where the Support Group Meetings are in Huntsville, Al ? I have never been to a meeting, but I am thinking of going to one. I live in Florence, Al, It will be a little bit of a drive but I wanted to find out how helpful the meetings are. Plus, it would be nice to meet people in person that have had or thinking about having WLS & that I talk to on here. I would really appreciate any information on the meetings... Thanks !!! 

 There are two WLS meetings in Huntsville at the Hsv Hospital Wellness Center on Govenors Drive. The gastric banding folks meet the first Thursday of the month at 5 PM. The by-pass/sleeve meet at 6 PM the first Thursday of the month. There is a group that meets middle of the month at 10 AM I believe.

Do you attend any of these meetings.  I notice that you are a revision.  Are you getting a ds?

I am new to the area. Does anyone know of a good Baratric surgeon that can do follow up care. I have Tricare prime. Also is the surport group open to everyone? Or do you have to be a patient of that dr. I had my surgery in sc. I had dec 23. I already reached my 100 pounds weight loss.  Would anyone be interested coming to Redstone if I can get a group started here. I am working on getting one started here.
