At goal

Today I finally accepted that I am more than likely at goal.  I even changed my goal weight in the Health Tracker and updated my ticker.  And I am so okay with this!

No, I am not a normal BMI.....I'd still need to lose another 5 lbs to get there...but I'll bet the extra skin I'm carrying around weighs at least that!

And yes, I did actually weigh 3 lbs less than I do now...............for one week............almost a year ago...........never saw it again.

I have been at this weight since the end of May 2010.  I can easily maintain it and I eat a normal amount of food--I do not starve myself nor do I deprive myself.  I am healthy and I can physically do pretty much anything I want to  (STILL haven't mastered the unassisted pull up though!).

So today I have officially updated my ticker and my goal weight..............Yeay me!

Good for you!! Sometimes what we want our goal to be, and what our body dictates, just don't agree! I am back to my lowest weight of 139...and I am happy with that! I could probably lose another 10 lbs or so...but I don't think I would look healthy at that weight.

I just had total knee replacement surgery on my left knee on Jan. 5th. Taking liquid Lortab and eating horrible food for 2 wks helped me lose a few pounds!

Have a great weekend!

You are amazing!  I look up to folks like you that have such long term success.  I hope the knee is healing nicely--I'm sure I will be looking at knee replacements in about 10 years....mine are shot from being obese and I now have arthritis....oddly though the running makes them better....I just hope they hold up for a long time to come!

Have a great weekend.

Awww..thanks!! You really flatter me! The knee is coming along slowly, but at least I am making progress and that's the main thing. THe surgeon seems to be OK with things at this point. I didn't realize just how bad mine was til I had it fixed!

I just started a new job today so I will have to slow my PT down to 2 days a week instead of 3...it's hard to stay motivated at home..I hate exercise...LOL.

I think you have done an amazing job.  Congrats on your goal!

Sometimes I think I want to hit that 120 mark just for the # but being 20-25 lbs heavier than that isn't so bad either!  LOL  I am content with my "goal" weight now too  :)
