Capsules??

My dermatologist called last night and said my back was infected (staph) and she was calling in antibiodics and yada yada. So, i go to pick them up today and they are capsules. I dont normally take capsules bc it was my understanding we dont absorb capsules well. Is this the case so far out? Just wondering. Im about to start taking them to get it knocked out but i wondered if i should call my doctor back.

Call your surgeon's office to verify.  You will probably be okay.

It should be okay as my surgeon has given me meds in the capsule form before.  But,  I always ask for liquid if I know that I am going to have to take a pill or capsule.  The problem that I have is that I can not swallow them and it is just better for me.  Even tho liquid is most of the times horrible tasteing.
