Update #2 - surgery posponed until tomorrow

Hi everybody,

My surgery has been postponed until tomorrow, hopefully around 11.  Crestwood has given us a room free of charge.  This is the first time in my life I wish I had packed more.  I started to, but my husband talked me out of it. 

So, we are camped out at Crestwood for Winterfest 2011!

I hope everybody is enjoying the snow.  It sure is pretty.  From my room, I can see some really tall pine trees with the snow in them....so pretty.

Kim that is a bummer.  But the good part if there is one, you got a free room.  The same sort of thing happened to my daughter in law when she went for her TT and breast reduction.   The surgeon got involved in a bad case with a patient who had  breast ca and ended up not finishing until about 8 or 9 that night.  The hospital called her surgery and put us all up at at a hotel close by.  We were like you unprepared for staying overnight.  I was able to make the 1 1/2 drive back and get a bath, change clothes and brush my teeth and get back for the surgery.   Some times these things work for the best.  Wishing you the best.
