To those who are non-believers, they have a different greater power . The key is "BELIEVE" that a power greater than ourselves..."
Just my opinion as a recovering food addict
Yay Gwen. You hit the nail on the head. Without Jesus Christ we would be nothing. I think some people see Jesus Christ in a whole different light. Strange as it may seem, some people try to change or misinterpret what the HOLY BIBLE says to benefit themselves. It's so sad too. I just don't understand. Some people even think their religion is the only way to heaven. Uhhh, NO, I don't think so. Just cause we don't see eye to eye on every single thing, doesn't mean we're not going to heaven. The only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We must ask him to forgive us of ALL our sins, not just part of them and we must ask him to live in our hearts and our lives and live our lives in a Christ like manner. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes. But when they are repeated over and over and over again, then....there's a big problem.
I am thankful for MY HIGHER POWER, Jesus Christ. God bless you all and have a very blessed rest of this weekend.
Love to all,
Elle

I have many friends that are not "christian" but are of another faith. They serve a different higher power that I do.
What I read into this step is everyone has to turn it over to their own higher power whether it be Jesus Christ or a rock. They must BELIEVE in their higher power.
I personally serve Jesus but if the person next to me believes that Buddah or a rock is their higher power then that's their right. As long as they BELIEVE
