Happy Tuesday! Biggest Loser Season 11 starts tonight!

I love the Biggest Loser.  I am so inspired by the pure determination that fuels these people to push themselves to change their lives.  I have learned a lot about nutrition and exercise from watching the show. 

Last night the bride decided she did not want to do P90X and wanted to do Nautilus--so I let her pick since it was her choice.  I personally get bored on the Nautilus machine, but it is a good change of pace. So we did that then did the Ab Ripper 200 workout from Power 90.  She giggled when she saw how young Tony Horton was in this "vintage" workout DVD.

Food today:
B-Jimmy Dean D-Lights bagel breakfast sandwich
S-Kashi bar
L-Chunky soup and 5 light Ritz crackers
S-fresh pineapple and Chobani peach
D-center cut pork chops and a veggie

Dessert-s/f jello with pineapple

Exercise:  tonight is cardio so I think we'll do P90X cardio X.  I'm so glad tomorrow is a day off from exercising because honestly I can't think of a place on my body that doesn't hurt right now! 

Update on me doing a pull up:  This is the hardest thing I've ever tried to do.  When I am hanging there, I swear I weigh 300 lbs.  I can only pull myself up about 2 inches--then I have to use the chair for assistance.  Come hell or high water, I AM GOING TO DO IT!!

what is nautilus?? That may be a stupid question if so im sorry ive just never heard of it.

last night i did abt 10 minutes on the elliptical at Jans. Tonight i'll do my elliptical for 15-20. ive got to get back in the groove of exercising.

B-egg scrambled w/ ham and 1 slice of bacon
L-smoked chicken breast, steamed veggies, corn on the cob. im going to eat the meat and see if i have room for the veggies, doubtful.
S-pineapple orange protein shake
D-i dont know. i have to go get J from Jans so if she cooks i'll eat there, if not i'll have a protein shake.

Will exercise always make you sore and hurt?  I am certainly hoping not!

Nautilus is a brand of weight machines with various exercises you can do for all over body weight training--the weights are "stacked" in the back and a pin is inserted for the desired amount of weight.   My particular machine is made by Hoist.

Kim, I wish I could tell you that you get to a point where you don't hurt....but I've been doing regular exercise for over 2 years and I still have some soreness after weight workouts or really strenuous runs/hikes.  It isn't a feeling of death like it was in the beginning, but I can definitely feel it!

Happy Tuesday.....

B:  1 serving egg casserole...really good and I made up the recipe as I went along.
L:  unsweet tea and a cheeseburger with extra pickles minus 1/2 the bun
S:  Pure Protein bar
D:  Chicken and cheese sandwich
S:  cheese stick and 6 cheese crackers
S:  coffee......to keep me awake as I work til midnight!


Got to get back into an exercise routine. Have struggled with motivation for a month now........
