So True!!!!

I am posting step 9 early as I will not be home during the day tomorrow.   I am taking my babies to meet their Mom.  Sure have enjoyed those handsome precious little guys. 
Step 9

Made direct Amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others. 

A lot of people will not do this step and will stay in a rut and not grow.  12 steps is all based on God and a higher power.  But for us to grow as Christians and over come our faults we must make Amends to the ones we have hurt.  I am so thrilled that I have made a lot of amends and continue to do it ever day.  It never hurts to say your sorry.

fanatastisc step, Louise.  You are right, a lot of people will not do this step, but in order to grow and learn from mistakes, it's something we ALL must do.  IF not, it will eat away at you like cancer or another deadly disease.  I assure you all, if you will make amends to someone you have hurt, intentionally or not, it will make you a stronger and better person.

Elle you are so right.  After I posted step 9 last night I got to thinking about something that was done to me a while back.  I had a request of a person and they said they could not do it.  But in the last year I have found out that it could have been done.   I would never have thought that the person would have lied to me, but apparently they did.  I have made admends to the person and now wonder if they will.  We will see. 

Louise, all we can do is pray for those that have hurt or betrayed us.  They are the ones that have to pay the ultimate price in the end.
