Another cooking spree.....
Kyle woke up with a terrible migraine during the night last night. He just couldn't sleep. When I got up this morning, he and Jill were up putting peanut butter on ritz crackers together. I guess he wanted me to dip them in the white chocolate sometime today. Well, after we went and took the kids out for Jill's 20th Birthday lunch, we all came home and started Christmas cooking. We've made my special recipe of chocolate dipped peanut clusters, ritz crackers dipped in white chocolate, butterscotch haystacks, and chocolate pecan fudge. I haven't even tasted any of it, but Kyle seems to be enjoying it quite a bit. We've made it to make little goodie boxes for the neighbors. I got the cutest little boxes at Big Lots to put them in. I've got to make peanut butter cookies and oatmeal raisin cookies and I'll be done. I'm not making those today, they are just too time consuming for me to start them this late in the day. I will finish up everything sometime early part of this week. All in all, it's been a good day, just hurting from making all those darned blankets last night. Hope everyone is having a grand Christmas Season.
Got all my goodie making done last week--chocolate fudge, PB fudge, pralines, bourbon balls, cranberry orange pecan cookies and ooey gooey butter bars. I did taste each one....very yummy and very decadent! Most of it is gone after my party Friday, but some is left and I'll take that to another party this Saturday.
