Word of Caution

Please do not acknowledge that you or anyone else is away from you home during the holidays.  These bulletin boards are public information and your posting a well meant best wishes for safe travel, etc. could allow a criminal to be alerted to a home to target.

Please do not announce that you are going shopping or visiting for any extended amount of time, as this, too, can lead to a break in.

My cousin said on Facebook that she was going shopping for a few hours.  When she returned, all of her collector's jewelry was missing, the house was ramsacked, and her cash was gone.  And when this happened, it was not even a holiday.

PLEASE PLEASE HEED THIS WARNING AND STAY SAFE AND HELP OTHERS TO DO THE SAME.

Thanks for posting this.  Sorry to hear about your cousin.  We never think things will happen to US, but one never knows until it really does happen.  We really do need to be more cautious in all that we do and say.

GREAT word of Caution my friend!!  It is a shame, but I have heard of people being robbed and every gift stolen.  We don't live like we use to.  A friend of mine and I were talking about the day when we could sleep with the front door open and the screen door locked with all the windows open.  NOT NOW!!  We live in a harsh, cruel, world that needs God and His Grace!!  Thanks again!!

For every Goliath, there is a Stone! His name is Jesus!"
