Question for the oldies and maybe newbies too!!
I don't know if I have told you or not, but I am having some issues with my right knee. I went to the Dr. on Monday and he said it is all tendons, not bone. He gave me two cortisone shots and it is better. He also gave me a script for Mobic. I am not sure of my spelling so please don't laugh too much if I have murdered the spelling. My question is... I know Mobic has to be inseds. I am to take one 15mg per day. If it does not bother my tummy do you think it will be okay to take this until my knee is well????

I recently had a bout with arthritis in my right knee. I got injections and luckily they are doing the trick. My ortho had me call Dr. Sherer to see if I could take Celebrex which is in the Nsaid family. Dr. Sherer said I could take it for up to 6 months as long as I took Prevacid twice a day while I was taking it.

Hey There my friend. So good to see you. I have been taking Mobic for over 2 years due to the accident Lucy and I were in. I also take the injections every 3 months. The mobic has not hurt me at all, but the cortisone shots keep me from losing my 20 lbs. I dispise them! The shots that is, but it is the only relief I get in my hip. The mobic is fine. If you feel any discomfort, take and over the counter med for your tummy. You should be fine. Love you and Bro. Jimmy!
