Any DS'ers in North Alabama?

I'm starting the process to get a revision to DS but so far haven't found too many (actually nada) in the north Alabama area. I'm trying to find a support group that includes DS (the ones in Hsv are bypass, sleeve, and band (which I'm active in already)) folks as well.

Any DS'ers out there??

Yes there is some DS people in the Huntsville area.  If I am not mistaken I believe her name was LeeAnn.   She has posted her on the Bama Board some.  Maybe Renee will come along and give you more info on her I think they may have been friends. 

i too have looked into the DS but cant find anyone here in North Alabama that does it. I know LeeAnn went out of state (maybe even country) for hers. She use to post on the rants and raves board but i havent seen her since they shut that board down.

There is a few in tennessee if you care to drive that far. i was looking into Vanderbilt. I havent done anything except look because im trying to kick this myself, but i wish i had known about the DS when i was looking into surgery. Really!

there are no DS doctors in north Alabama. I am seeing a doctor in Nashville this week about the DS. I don't know if I could do the support meetings there but who knows.
