Out of the mouths of babes, LOL
My ex-husband's little girl, Gracie, is 7. She just called me to see what I am doing. I said I am here by myself jus****ching TV with Mione and Harper (my dogs). Gracie said....Yeah Kim, that is how it is when you get old. Old people need dogs when they don't have kids anymore, LOL. I could not help but laugh at what she said. I hope you all enjoy it too.
Then she said.....now when is it you are going to see Kid Rock?
I am so excited about the concert. I bought tickets yesterday to see Jamey Johnson and Kid Rock in Birmingham on February 19th. Jamey Johnson is in my profile picture with me. I think Jamey Johnson is awesome!!
I wanted to go to Nashville, but the presale tickets were sold out, so Birmingham it is. I am praying to be one month postop by the time of the concert.
I hope you all are having a wonderful Friday night, and if you don't have kids, I hope you have "fur-kids" to watch TV with you....just in case you are old like me, LOL.

Well Kim, I guess I'm old too. I either have my grandon or my grand dog under me at all times. Tonight, my husband and I took our 3 year old grandson out to eat with us. We went to a local Mom and Pop restaurant and ordered their "specialty" ground sirloin steak and homemade stuffed cheese baked potatoes. OMGoodness......I thought I would share my dinner with Christian and then have some to bring home for leftovers.....was I ever surprised. That child ate most of my salad and the entire steak and a few bites of potato. Bless his little heart, he must have been starving. I think I got 3-4 teensy bites of steak and most of the potato and that was it. I was stuffed. He was so funny, everytime I handed him a piece of meat on his fork, he would promptly pop it into his mouth, hand it back and say "more steak, please, Nana". Then he would say THANK YOU, every time I handed him a bite. Cracked me up, my husband and I were laughing so hard at him. He kept on till there was a large bite left on the plate, he was so afraid I was going to get it, that he took his fork as quickly as he could and reached over and stabbed the entire piece of meat on his fork and held on to it till he finished what he had in his mouth and said, THANK YOU, NANA, He's such a big boy. For a just turned 3 year old he has a broad vocabulary and talks like an adult. I just can't get over how well he talks for his age. Grandchildren are the most wonderful gift on earth. We have our hands full and hope no more come along for quite some time. LOL He refused to go home with his Mama tonight, He said he wanted to stay with Nana and Papa. God, I love that boy, He's stayed with us the last 4 nights, either my Daddy or husband has been keeping him while Holly finished up nursing school and she started her first nursing job today. We are so proud of our girls. Now, just to get Jill thru Cosmetology in the spring..
