Looks like you have lost a lot and are doing well.  Drama is always easily created by some people, especially those who may be less stable to begin with.  We have to remember there is a reason why people are overweight in the first place.  WE are not less emotionally healthy than other people, but our emotional difficulties usually resulted in overeating.  And because we are like the rest of the population who do not have a weight problem, there are just as many borderline personalities, bipolars, depressives, and other personality disorders as there are in the general population.  We have had some seriously disturbed people in this group, and we continue to have and will continue to have those who get off their meds and create difficulties for themselves and others.  Sometimes, we just need to consider the source and realize that they have problems that go beyond weight loss. This statement is not aimed at anyone in particular, it is just a reminder that disturbed people have access to this site just like healthy ones do...and sometimes what we are seeing is someone who is emotionally disturbed, not someone who is intentionally obnoxious.

Hi Karla!!  It is great to hear from you.  I agree with you.  Chaos will get me every time.   I do not do well any longer with negativity, chaos, etc.  I was also asked several times to leave the Bama Board and finally did.  I do lurk, however. 

I was just sitting here earlier looking at two beautiful ornaments atop my tree made by one very special lady.  You have much insight and I miss seeing you around.

I think about you often, too.  I am assuming that your weight loss has continued to work well for you.  I would love to see what you daughter looks like now that she has probably almost disappeared.  Is she happily teaching somewhere?  It has been such a long time since we heard from you and your daughter.
