Clothing exchange

Hello Bama folks!!

Just a question. does anyone know of a clothing exchange club. As we drop pounds, we need clothes. In this economy who can afford a new wardrobe everytime you drop 10-15 pounds.

I haven't heard of any in the Montgomery area.  I know that one of the doctors in B'ham does one once or twice a year at their support group meeting.  I don't know which doctor it is though.

When I went to my appt. (before surgery) to see my nut. she spoke about a clothing exchange. She is located in Huntsville, I'll find her # & post it for you.

there is a clothes closet at the Huntsville Hospital Wellness Center off Govenor's Drive in Huntsville. It is free for bariatric patients but I'm not sure how useful it would be for you (given the drive time to Huntsville from Helena). My recommendation is scope out thrift stores in the area and use them for most daily clothing.

I did a lot of clearance shopping and tried not to buy a lot until I reached goal weight.

By the way, I do have a small bag of women's clothing sized 6-8, maybe a few 10's. If anyone is in the Montgomery / Prattville area, I would be happy to give away!

 I could use the 6-8's.  I make it up to M'gomery about once a month.  I am going thrugh my stuff little by little right now.  I'll post and see if anyone would like 'em.

When is the next time you are going to be in town?  We could meet up somewhere.

Not sure how far you are from Montgomery but I may have some men's clothes for you.  What sizes you looking for?  Think I mostly have 40's - 44's in mens and XX and XXX shirt sizes.
